The First Anniversary
Hello readers!
October 19, 2014 marked the first anniversary of the passing of my mother Patricia. It has been rough as all those who have lost loved ones can attest to, but with the help of God, friends and family, we make it through.
My brother Gerald, her grandson Matthew and I went to the grave site in September to celebrate her birthday, September 17, and saw her tombstone for the first time (it takes about three months after burial for the tombstone to be installed).
Matthew wanted to leave his brand new toy car and we wouldn't let him - we should have. Next time Matthew.
As a tribute, Patricia's eulogy which was delivered at her Thanksgiving Service of November 3, 2013 is being shared with you.
